Saints fans like nothing more than watching the Black and Gold win. Especially beating Atlanta. And now, maybe the Rams too.
While the Saints 2021 football season ended with the team just on the outside of the playoffs, the Louisiana Lottery is still giving fans a second chance at a spectacular Saints prize ticket package.
How do I enter to win the Louisiana Lottery Saints prize package?
This year, the Louisiana Lottery offered two Saints-themed scratch-off tickets for $2 and $5. Those scratch-off games are closed now like the Saints defense shut down Tom Brady and the Bucs this year (9-0, Haha!).
But, if you’re still holding on to some of those non-winning tickets, you can send them to the Louisiana Lottery and be entered into the second chance drawing.
The tickets, either the $2 or $5 variety, must add up to $10 worth for a single entry. Players need to fill out the information on the back of the tickets and mail the entry in a standard-sized envelope to the drawing address:
Louisiana Lottery Saints 2nd Chance Drawing
P.O. Box 675
Port Allen, LA 70767
Players can enter as many times as they want. Again, each entry has to be $10 worth of tickets but each entry has to be in a different envelope.
What are the dates?
You have until Mar. 28 to enter the second-chance drawing and until Jun. 25 (a few days before the start of Saints training camp) to claim any of the instant prizes from one of the Saints-themed cards.
What is the Saints-themed big prize?
Saints fans will love this one. Players are eligible to win a 2022 Saints Season Prize Package, which includes four Plaza Sideline tickets inside the Caesars Superdome for the entire 2022 football season.
Yes, that includes the playoffs. The winner will also receive a parking pass and a VIP tour of the Saints practice facility.
The winner and three guests will receive limo service to the facility in Metairie where they can view a team practice. And maybe give some advice to new Saints coach Dennis Allen and have lunch in the team cafeteria.
Maybe they’ll even let you field some punts.
2022 New Orleans Saints home schedule
After finishing 9-8 in and in second place in the NFC South, the Saints 2022 schedule is set.
They are supposed to have nine home games this season, but one home game has been moved to London as part of the NFL’s International Series. The opponent for that game has not been announced.
The Saints’ home opponents in 2022 are:
- Atlanta Falcons
- Carolina Panthers
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Los Angeles Rams
- Seattle Seahawks
- Baltimore Ravens
- Cincinnati Bengals
- Las Vegas Raiders
- Minnesota Vikings
A scouting report on the Louisiana Lottery
The Lottery announced it ended its best year ever in June of 2021 in terms of revenue with $625 million in proceeds and more than $207 million shifted to the state treasury for K-12 public school education.
The complete breakdown of that $625 million was $353 million to prize winners, $35 million to lottery retailers and $28 million for the Lottery’s operational expenses.
Louisiana gamblers have won more than $5 billion since the Lottery was created in 1991.
